The A-DQ(ZN)2Y single-mode outdoor fiber optic microcable is a fully dielectric cable with a lightweight, multi-tube construction. It is highly flexible, pull-resistant, and UV-resistant. Each tube contains 24 fibers and is filled with a hydrophobic gel to protect the fibers from moisture penetration. The cable tubes are twisted around a central FRP strength member. Additionally, the cable is equipped with a ripcord that allows the outer sheath to be cut. The cable is designed for outdoor installation. Installation can be performed pneumatically (blown into) microducts with an internal diameter of 10 or 12 mm.
