The plane is the means of transport with the fastest growing market share. We choose air travel not only for long distances, but also for short, intercity flights. Every airport is a place of a large people concentration and therefore requires special protection.. To increase the safety and efficiency of the airport infrastructure, C&C Partners, on the basis of many years of experience and implementations used both at Polish and foreign airports, has adapted its solutions to the specificity of this area, taking into account the current policies and legal regulations concerning airports.
The systems provided by C&C Partners support the management and organization of the work of airport services, as well as increase the safety of passengers and their property in airports and its areas, which, by using the latest technical solutions, ensures optimization of operating costs. We can implement the offered systems for individual facilities or as an integrated system for the entire airport. The systems we implement are responsible for security and communication, enable modular expansion, and can provide interfaces for other already installed devices.
In C&C Partners, we offer a wide range of technological solutions that allow you to meet such challenges as:
- communication to alarm (SOS posts) or pass information
- monitoring of the port area (passenger terminal, hangar, flight tower)
- protection of the external area with perimeter protection and thermal imaging cameras
- automatic detection of abandoned luggage
- management of access to parking spaces
Safety within the airport infrastructure is secured by:
- intercom communication system
- integrated video monitoring with intelligent image analysis
- perimeter protection system
- access control system
- intrusion detection system
- parking system
Monitoring and managing these systems, as well as the fire detection systems installed in the facility, can be very easy, thanks to the PSIM + physical security management software. That saves money and reduces the workload.
A very large number of people going through the airport each day requires efficient communication, which will ensure the comfort of movement and, in critical situations, will provide a quick way to call for help and ensure a reliable channel for quick transmission of important decisions. SOS columns located in front of the entrance, or in the halls are used by travelers to call for help, whenever they need it. The posts are equipped with several elements that adapt them to the needs of disabled people, including induction loops for communication with the hearing impaired, or subtitles in Braille.
The system also allows integration with the telephone exchange, mobile devices, and TETRA telephony used by airport services.
In ticket offices, where glass walls create a sound barrier, modern communication solutions are necessary that will enable face-to-face conversation while maintaining personal protection and safety. The checkout intercoms are designed to provide a natural conversation experience. The sound quality up to 16 kHz ensures excellent speech intelligibility, even under the most difficult conditions (e.g., loud background noise). Automatic adaptation to the acoustic conditions of the environment and adjustable microphone sensitivity further improve the quality of the transmission.
The access control system enables airport employees to supervise access to individual terminal rooms or specified technical buildings or hangars. This solution allows you to monitor the flow of people in the terminal and technical buildings. It is also possible to dynamically change access authorizations for a specific zone in a given period of time and to flexibly expand the access control system with new rooms or buildings.
Another building system that improves security in the airport area is the facility video surveillance system. As part of this system, we provide full video monitoring of the port area, including passenger terminal, hangars, and flight towers. On the other hand, the advanced solutions developed by C&C Partners specialists enable the live observation of high-quality images by security personnel and the monitoring center. This functionality also allows the use of image analysis algorithms, including recface recognition, license plates, and objects appearing and disappearing in the departure hall. The system also provides the ability to monitor the movement of airplanes or other vehicles on the apron. Whereas, the secured record is ensured by hardware redundancy.
Features of the monitoring system are also used for the protection of the external area. It provides full monitoring of intrusions into the airport by the perimeter protection systems. For this purpose, we use ground and plate sensory cables as well as infrared and microwave barriers. The entire external area protection system is integrated with the video monitoring system and SMS. In addition, the detection of intruders around the runway is ensured by intelligent image analysis based on video surveillance cameras. The solution also enables integration with a radar system and long-range cameras (including thermal imaging).
Another system that is responsible for the security of a facility is the intrusion detection system. It enables the detection of intruders by detectors in local and external rooms, along with notification to the security department about the alarm. Meanwhile, complete visualization of the detector's and zones status is available at the security post. Additionally, in order to discreetly signal robbery and theft, panic buttons are placed within the ticket offices.
Our comprehensive offer also includes a solution in the scope of parking management. It allows controlled access to the parking areas based on long-range readers or license plate analysis and management of the barrier from the central visualization level. Additionally, it is possible to limit the number of parking spaces for specific groups of users and to grant access to the car park for travelers in advance, based on the automatic recognition of license plates.
As part of the integration with third-party systems, C&C Partners provides integration with elevator control systems, fire alarm systems, key-management systems, and environmental conditions monitoring systems. Wide integration possibilities allow keeping working time records. The record of working time of employees, divided into specific groups, supports organizing special activities, such as private visits, medical appointments, etc. The C&C Partners solution also has an advanced reporting system and the option of integration with HR and payroll systems.
An indispensable element of comprehensive process management in the airport infrastructure is the environmental conditions monitoring system. It enables the readout and visualization of environmental parameters in the server room and technical racks located at the airport. The solution offered by C&C Partners supports a wide range of gauges, including temperature, humidity, and flooding. The system allows generating alarms in the case of identifying conditions as critical, e. g. too high temperature.
Effective security management is primarily collecting information from all events in one place. For that purpose, there is a designed solution to monitor and manage all systems by one operator from the supervisor center. The WinGuard system is a PSIM + class software used to manage security processes in public facilities.
The PSIM + software enables effective monitoring and management of security processes. It integrates various subsystems, incl. access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, intercoms, parking, working time records, or fire alarm. Thanks to the complex interface, it is possible to integrate any system necessary for the investor.
Extensive incident reporting tools in the PSIM + software, provide the appropriate reporting of events, relevant information about the resources, and performance of individual systems. Adequate management of the accumulated knowledge translates into the possibility of optimal management of many facilities and ordering the procedures applicable in a given facility, which results in cost optimization.
A perfect complement to the above solution is the remote management of facilities, enabling management of individual airport zones by security service from a dozen or so dedicated workstations located throughout the airport. The solution also allows remote management from any external location by transmitting data via TCP / IP local networks and the Internet. The system also provides support for various mobile devices, incl. smartphones, laptops, and tablets.
