The A-DQ(ZN)2Y single-mode outdoor fiber optic microcable is a fully dielectric cable with a lightweight, multi-tube construction. It is highly flexible, pull-resistant, and UV-resistant. Each tube contains 12 fibers and is filled with a hydrophobic gel to protect the fibers from moisture penetration. The cable tubes are twisted around a central strength member (FRP). Additionally, the cable is equipped with a ripcord that allows the outer sheath to be cut. The cable is designed for outdoor installation. Installation can be performed pneumatically (blown into) microducts with an internal diameter of 8 or 10 mm.
