DAC (Direct Access Cable) – a very lightweight dielectric cable with a central tube designed for direct burial. Its small outer diameter facilitates installation. Its construction protects against longitudinal water ingress. It is crush- and tensile-resistant. A stiffening element in the outer sheath ensures the cable bends only in one plane. This cable is recommended for FTTH solutions.
