Technology in practice – ZSET students in the fiber optic factory

On Thursday, students of our patronage class from the Electronics and Telecommunications School Complex in Leszno had a unique opportunity to look behind the scenes of optical fiber production at the TKF Polska factory.

Technology in practice – ZSET students in the optical fiber factory

A group of students from the ZSET patronage class in Leszno, passionate about ICT and electronics, thanks to the courtesy of TKF Polska, had a unique opportunity to learn about the optical fiber production process from scratch.

During the visit, the participants saw modern production lines and advanced technologies used at every stage – from creating the optical fiber core to protecting it from external factors. Solutions that streamline assembly and increase the durability of optical fiber networks – crucial for reliable telecommunications infrastructure – also aroused great interest.

An important element of the trip was also the training, which allowed the students to expand their knowledge and better understand the practical application of optical fibers.

We would like to thank Dawid Siebner, Wojciech Jurewicz and Szymon Bartowiak from TKF Polska for professionally preparing the visit and creating a safe and inspiring atmosphere, and our class for their active participation and commitment – we are glad that we could discover the world of modern technologies together!
