New AED defibrillator at the Logistics Center

As part of our opportunity to take advantage of PZU's preventive measures, our company purchased another AED defibrillator, which was installed at the Logistics Center. The first device of this type is located at the company's headquarters.

New AED at the Logistics Center

AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) enable an effective response in the event of sudden cardiac arrest. The device guides the user with voice and visual prompts, enabling defibrillation to be performed by individuals without prior training.

Why is this so important?
Defibrillators are safe for both the rescued person and the rescuer, automatically adjusting the energy dose. Prompt use of an AED significantly increases the chances of survival – in Europe, only one in five resuscitation attempts are attempted, and increased frequency could save as many as 100,000 people per year!
