European Cybersecurity Month
European Cybersecurity Month – a year-round priority for us
October is European Cybersecurity Month, an annual campaign coordinated by the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA). For C&C Partners, it is a good opportunity to emphasise that digital security is not a seasonal initiative for us, but a permanent part of every project we deliver.
Security starts where you can’t see it
Modern security systems are much more than cameras, access control readers and intercoms. Each of these devices is part of a network through which data is transmitted, and each one must be properly secured. It is the network infrastructure, data transmission and device authentication that determine whether a system truly protects a facility or becomes a gateway for unauthorised access.
Security by design in practice
That is why we consider cybersecurity from the design stage onwards, not only once installation is complete. We apply this approach to projects for cities, railways, hospitals and universities, and in practice it means specific solutions: network segmentation using VLANs, VPN tunnels, encrypted communication between devices, a Zero Trust model and regular penetration testing.
The same standards within our own company
The principles we implement for our clients are the ones we follow ourselves. This is confirmed by our ISO/IEC 27001 certification, the international standard for information security management. We do not treat it as a formality, but as a commitment to consistent, structured work on data protection every day.
Sharing our knowledge
We believe that the security of the industry depends on the knowledge of everyone involved in it. Through the C&C Technology Academy, we run training courses for designers and installers that combine physical security and IT. Only a comprehensive view of both areas makes it possible to build systems that offer real protection.
European Cybersecurity Month is drawing to a close, but our vigilance remains the same all year round.
