C&C Partner infrastructure systems in the tunnel near Luboń Mały mountain

It has already become a standard that in tunnel projects a solution of intercom communication SOS Comnder finds its place. 42 intercom stations were installed in the rescue niches of the Zakopane tunnel. The installation was made by Voltar System Sp. z o.o.

Even before the tunnel was put into use, the emergency services conducted exercises in it. A road mass accident with a bus, van and several passenger cars was filed. As assured, security systems that the tunnel has - fulfilled their role.

• The 2-kilometer tunnel under Mount Luboń Mały during Zakopane is one of the most difficult road investments in Poland. Lasted up to 5.5 years.
• In total, nearly 1.1 million cubic meters of rock spoil was extracted from the Mountain Luboń massif.
• 180 tons of explosives were used to hollow it!

Thanks to the tunnel, we will get 25 minutes faster from Krakow to the Tatra Mountains.
