In the era of increasing aggression towards officers and rescuers, body-worn cameras are becoming not only a tool for documenting interventions, but above all an effective form of prevention, legal protection and support for training processes.

Why is it worth implementing body-worn cameras?

Protection of officers against aggression

  • They deter potential attackers – many people will not take aggressive action if they know that everything is being recorded.

VDG SENSE Architecture and Integration:

There are 2 system installation options available

  • CLOUD model - recording and management of material in the Zepcam.com cloud
  • ON-PREMISE model - recording and management of material on the Zepcam server locally on the client's server, e.g. NVH-2608XR

Official integration with ZEPCAM is announced in VDG SENSE 2.7.7

VDG connection to cameras ALWAYS takes place via the Zepcam Manager server - two models to choose from:

  • CLOUD model - live audio-video stream from the Zepcam T3 camera via Wifi or LTE (via the Internet) is transmitted to the Zepcam Cloud (where it is saved according to the subscription) and then from the Zepcam Cloud via the Internet to the local VDG SENSE server.
  • ON-PREMISE model - LOCALLY - live audio-video stream from the Zepcam T3 camera via Wifi is transmitted to the local Zepcam server e.g. NHV-2608XR (where it is saved) then from the local Zepcam server via LAN sent to the local VDG SENSE server.
